Welcome to Melk!

Here we welcome you directly in the Melk pedestrian zone, right below the world-famous baroque Melk Abbey.

We devote ourselves to your wishes with a lot of love and welcome you all day long with homemade pastries, snacks and ice cream specialities.

Would you like to take a small souvenir home with you?
How about the Original Melker Torte, a Melker Taler or our Babenberger praline? We always have a selection of handcrafted sweet ambassadors at our pastry shop.

Our premises are worth a visit: From the mirror room to the green tea salon - our guests will find rest and relaxation. During summer, the garden invites you to linger. Directly in the pedestrian zone with a view to the main square of Melk.

In the so called "literature salon", we are offering a new service: Read books or current literature. If you like a book, you can purchase it on site. We have set up a shelf with children´s books and a small play kitchen for our younger guests. WiFi is free of charge.

Monday - Saturday from 8:30 - 18:00 hours
Sunday and on public holidays from 13:00 - 18:00 hours
